Roma Sanders Roma Sanders graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a B.S. in Music Education. She received her M.A. in Music from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Although she also holds full teaching credentials in English, she much prefers teaching music!

Her teaching career has spanned different regions of the United States including Tennessee, New Jersey, Nebraska, Kansas, and California. She has taught music on the elementary and high school levels, English and Language Arts classes for both Junior and Senior High, and served as an assistant dean of women in New Jersey (where she also taught various classes in music and English.) Currently at NCCE she teaches Music K-8, which includes Bands, Choirs, Hand Chimes and classes in elementary classroom music. This challenging job keeps her very busy, fully engaged, and happy. She loves teaching and enjoys associating with students and educators. She believes in music and Music Education.

She is blessed with a very loving and supportive family who live in Chicago, the Kansas City area, Nebraska, and Redlands, CA - - obviously not next door! She is also blessed with dear friends both in this area and throughout the United States.
Roma resides in Fairfield with her little Shetland sheepdog, Whitney. She enjoys people, animals (especially Shelties), reading, walking, refinishing furniture, and visiting historical places.

She feels it is a blessing to work in partnership with God. “Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious!”  Ps. 66:2.
