Mike was born in Loma Linda CA to Dr. Ray and Char Copithorne in August of 1974. His parents worked as missionaries for the Adventist church for 6 years where he learned Spanish. After returning from mission service, his family moved first to Colorado then Redding where they spent the next 12 years. After graduating from Milo Academy, Mike attended Pacific Union College. After some major life changing experiences that he will gladly share with you if you ask, God led him to teaching. After graduating from PUC and marrying his high school sweetheart, Mike got a job here at Napa Christian in 2002." I feel God has a plan for everyone that although it may be beset with challenges will ultimately glorify him. Through our weakness his strength shines through"!

Mikes hobbies generally include being out in nature. He enjoys surfing, mt. biking, camping, fly fishing, coaching volleyball and basketball, traveling with his wife and being with friends. He is a diehard San Francisco Giants and Forty Niner fan. His pet peeves are negative attitudes and he enjoys physical challenges.
