Jan Leigh hails from Florida, where she was born and raised. Luckily, she has been able to have the experience of living in other areas, including Louisville, KY and Santa Cruz, CA. Jan thinks moving to new places is an exciting adventure and an opportunity to get to know new people. She is looking forward to getting acquainted with her new middle school class. This year will mark her 13th year of teaching. The subject areas she teaches are Reading and Language Arts, which aren’t just subject areas but her passion as well!

If Jan isn’t reading a book or writing (anything and everything!) you can either find her with her dogs, Scout and Cheyanne or doing something outside. She loves to camp, hike and do almost anything involving the outdoors and a challenge. She is grateful to the Lord for leading her to Napa and is looking forward to a great year!
