Napa Christian has some instruments available for rental purposes. We try very hard to supply every student who wishes to rent from the school with the instrument of his/her choice. We have found, however, that is sometimes impossible. Therefore, we follow these guidelines: We rent on a “first come-first serve” basis; If a particular instrument is unavailable, we advise parents to rent from other sources within the community.
If a student chooses to rent an instrument from Napa Christian’s Music Department, a rental policy must be signed and returned to the Music Director. The following are the terms:
• The rental cost for every instrument is $15.00 per month.
• The student is responsible for any repairs to the instrument, which arise during the time the student is renting the instrument.
•
If the instrument suffers damage due to student carelessness, misuse, or abuse, (such as dents, broken keys incurred by dropping or jamming the instrument, etc.,) the student renting the instrument is responsible for all repairs.
•
If the instrument, or any part of the instrument, is lost during the time it is in said student’s possession, the student renting the instrument is responsible for the cost of replacing the instrument or the missing part.
•
Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies such as reeds, swab cloths, valve oil, etc. If desired, the student may purchase supplies from the school. If supplies are purchased from the school, they will be charged to the student’s account. |
