Darrell is a California native who was raised in Napa as was her father and his father. She went to Salvador Elementary school and Napa High. She was married here in Napa at the Presbyterian Church and has three children (2 girls & 1 boy) who were born at St Helena Hospital. Darrell is also the proud grandmother of five. She became a Seventh-day Adventist Christian in 1956 and was involved in Sabbath School and Pathfinders.

Darrell came to work at Napa Junior Academy as a teacher’s aide and then Extended Care.
